Attention Cadets, Parents, and Staff,

We are now accepting nominations for two of the most prestigious awards within the Canadian Cadet Program: the Lord Strathcona Medal (LSM) and the Royal Canadian Legion Cadet Medal of Excellence (RCL COE).

These medals honour cadets who demonstrate exceptional leadership, dedication, initiative, and service. If you know a cadet who consistently upholds the highest standards of the program, we invite you to submit a nomination.

1. Lord Strathcona Medal (LSM)

The Lord Strathcona Medal is awarded to cadets who show outstanding performance in physical fitness, citizenship, leadership, and overall proficiency. It represents the highest level of achievement for individual excellence.

Ideal nominees will have:

• Strong attendance and active participation

• Demonstrated leadership

• Excellent conduct, dress, and deportment

• High physical fitness levels

• An ongoing commitment to the aims of the Cadet Program

2. Royal Canadian Legion Cadet Medal of Excellence

This medal recognizes cadets who exhibit initiative, teamwork, community involvement, and exemplary personal standards.

Ideal nominees will have:
