BATTLE OF BRITAIN PARADE - ALDERGROVE

I hope you all enjoyed your summer breaks and are excited for the startup of cadets once again!

Coming up this Sunday, September 20^th is the Battle of Britain Parade. This is a parade is held to commemorate the 86^th anniversary of the Battle of Britain and honour all fallen aircrew. 

Battle of Britain Parade Details

Date: Sunday, September 20^th 2026

Location: Aldergrove Legion (26607 Fraser Hwy, Aldergrove BC V4W 3L1)

Timings:

     Arrival 

• Seniors, Band, Flag Party: 0930hrs

• All Cadets: 1000hrs

     Dismissal 

• All Cadets: 1300hrs (cadets are welcome to stay until 1500hrs to partake in other activities after the parade)

Dress: 

Officers - No. 1

Cadets - C1

New Cadets without uniform - White Dress Shirt & Black Dress Pants

Bring: Water bottle

I highly encourage and expect everyone to attend the parade. The attendance of our senior group for this parade will set the standard for our new cadets as it is the first event of the training year. On this Thursday's training night, make sure to share the information among peers and younger cadets, encouraging them to attend the parade as well. Please reach out if you are interested in holding a parade position for the parade.

If you are unable to attend, you must email me a valid reason as to why you cannot make it. Parents are welcome to attend and watch the parade from the audience.
